Jefferson Einstein Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained Nuclear Radiologist to join our Radiology Department, in historic Philadelphia. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-volume, academically engaged environment with advanced nuclear medicine technology and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

Clinical Responsibilities

The selected candidate will demonstrate clinical proficiency across all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, including:

  • Nuclear medicine and molecular imaging studies and uptake scans
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine
  • Neurologic nuclear medicine
  • Nuclear medicine therapy, including I-131 (low and high dose)
  • Preferred experience with:
    • Y-90 microspheres therapy
    • Radium-223 therapy
    • Nuclear medicine theranostics
  • Oncologic PET/CT
  • Preferred experience with:
    • Cardiac PET/CT
    • Neurologic PET/CT

Academic & Professional Activities

  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
  • Teaching within a premier Diagnostic Radiology residency program (26 residents)
  • Involvement in research and educational activities, including mentorship and supervision of residents and medical students
  • Participation in a new IR/DR residency program
  • Academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University
  • Engagement in a robust peer learning and quality assurance program with academic-focused QA opportunities

  • State-of-the-art Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems
  • Web-based Fuji PACS supported by a dedicated internal IT team
  • System-wide implementation of Sectra PACS planned for 2026, further enhancing workflow efficiency, image quality, and enterprise-wide collaboration
  • Home workstations with flexible shift options

  • Department of 30 FTE radiologists, including 3 Thoracic Imagers
