Academic Neurology | Epilepsy Program | Visa Sponsorship | Texas

Build a Procedure-Rich Subspecialty Epilepsy Practice at the Only Health Sciences Center in the area!

Practice Highlights

•  Procedure-Rich EEG Practice: 2 days of patient visits per week • ~2 days of EEG interpretation • studies performed on-site with remote flexibility

•  Manageable Call Schedule: 1 week of call every 4–6 weeks on epilepsy consult service only • remote-capable EEG interpretation • no call obligations during regular outpatient weeks

•  Protected Academic & Administrative Time: 0.5 FTE administrative time included • up to 0.5–1 additional day per week of protected academic time based on candidate’s interests

•  Hybrid Clinical Structure with Remote Flexibility: 4.5 FTE clinical (clinic + EEG) + 0.5 administrative • blend of on-site clinical work and remote EEG interpretation options

•  Growing Academic Department: Established referral base with existing patient volume and NP support staff across the department

Compensation & Benefits

  Competitive Base Salary: 75th percentile MGMA Southern Region; Relocation package; CME allowance

Qualifications

  Degree: MD or DO

  Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible – American Board of Neurology; successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program; epilepsy fellowship or subspecialty training preferred

  Licensure: Licensed in TX or eligible for unrestricted TX medical licensure
