CHI Health-CommonSpirit and Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM) in Omaha, NE is actively recruiting BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our clinical academic practice in the role of "GI Hospitalist" in Omaha, Nebraska

This opportunity is well-suited for physicians passionate about providing comprehensive inpatient services as GI Hospitalist for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases

Enjoy working with learners, residents and fellows from our Gastroenterology fellowship program at Creighton University School of Medicine

This GI Hospitalist Opportunity Offers:

  • Combined Academic and Hospital/inpatient setting
  • Two weeks per month; with a 7 on/7 off schedule
    • Scheduled 0700-1900
    • Take new IP consults, IP rounding on GI service, perform IP endoscopy
    • Dedicated scoping schedule
    • Primary location will be Creighton University Medical Center Bergan (CUMC Bergan campus) on weekdays. No "call" Mon-Thurs. On Fri/Sat/Sun assume call for CUMC Bergan IP, Lakeside IP campus and Immanuel IP campus
    • No clinic responsibility
  • Join Experienced, well-Respected Gastroenterology providers; includes Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on the team
    • Your partners include dedicated IBD Specialists, Esophageal, Motility, Pancreatic, and Hepatologists
    • Advanced Gastroenterologists: ERCP and EUS
  • Opportunity to contribute to the Gastroenterology Fellowship program at Creighton University. Enjoy working with CUSOM Gastroenterology Fellows
  • Participate in Grand Rounds if desired; receive Academic Appointment commensurate with experience
  • On-site Surgical, Interventional Radiology, Bariatric, Pathology and more 
  • Access to an Extensive, Established Specialty and Primary Care Network 
  • Salary based compensation with Two Year Income Guarantee + Relocation Allowance + Benefits
  • CHI Health has 5 Omaha-metro area hospitals; well recognized in the region. CUMC Bergan campus is academic "hub"
