Anesthesiology Opportunity

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) – a physician led 600 provider multispecialty group – is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to practice at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center located in Nampa, Idaho.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, a Level III Trauma center, serves the region in providing the highest quality, close-to-home care for ill and injured patients of the west-central Treasure Valley. Saint Alphonsus Health System was named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson Health. Saint Alphonsus Health System is excited to partner with Sound Anesthesia in building their Anesthesia service line.

Wide array of cases to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory. (Additional pay for cardiac experience). No complex pediatrics or burns. Hospital employed W2 position.

Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care. Supervision model with a max 4:1 ratio.

Physicians are expected to be scheduled for 2,060 hours annually to maintain 1.0 FTE status. Call is shared equally.

Requirements for this opportunity include:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
