UW Health New Janesville Clinic – Janesville, Wisconsin

The University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) is excited to open a brand-new clinic in Janesville, Wisconsin, and is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join the team. This role offers the full spectrum of family medicine in an outpatient setting, with opportunities to teach medical students and participate in academic work. Be part of shaping a clinic from the ground up, with potential for a leadership role as site lead.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine care in an outpatient clinic.
  • Opportunity to teach medical students and participate in academic initiatives.
  • Flexible schedule with manageable phone-only call schedule.
  • Potential to perform newborn rounding and nursing home visits.
  • Clinic will feature lab, x-ray, and possible ancillary services on-site.
  • Work in collaboration with 3-4 other providers, supported by a dedicated team including clinic managers, MA’s, RN’s, and patient service representatives.
  • Shape the clinic’s growth and operations from the start, with the possibility of a leadership role.
  • Enjoy support from UW-Madison and UW Health, including access to academic and clinical resources.
  • Option to participate in academic scholarly work based on career track (CHS or CT).
  • Participation in departmental meetings, collaborative initiatives, and administrative duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO or equivalent.
  • Wisconsin medical license (or eligibility) prior to start date.
  • Board certification or eligibility (ABFM or AOBFP).
  • Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
