PM&R INPATIENT SPINAL CORD JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for a full time PM&R Inpatient Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the community. The position will emphasize the management of patients with spinal cord injuries during the acute/rehabilitation, subacute, and chronic phases of care. The position also includes leadership of an outpatient SCI Care Coordination Program, including oversight of a dedicated Nurse Practitioner and RN Care Coordinator. There will also be opportunities for outpatient spasticity management procedures, including guided chemodenervation and intrathecal baclofen pump management procedures.

The salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience. Appointment with tenure requires documented excellence in research and teaching and an emerging national reputation, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R
• Fellowship in Spine Injury preferred
