Job Description

Cook County Health is seeking an Angio-Interventional Radiology physician to join an exceptional team serving patients from across the greater Chicago area. This position in the Department of Radiology is responsible for the supervision of and interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies obtained with the hospital system and is specifically for, but not limited to, vascular/interventional services. As such, candidates are expected to possess expertise in a wide variety of body and vascular interventional procedures including peripheral vascular procedures and limited neuroradiology diagnostic procedures including myelography.   • Must be a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from an accredited college or university
  • Must be a licensed physician in the state of Illinois or have the ability to obtain a license prior to beginning employment
  • Must be board-certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Osteopathy Radiology; or if still in fellowship training, have passed step 1 certification by the American Board of Radiology
  • Must have experience/training pertaining to interpretation of CT angiographic examinations
  • Must be board-certified/board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology for vascular interventional
  • Having recent research, publications and presentations in Radiology is preferred
  • Having previous leadership roles such as Chief Resident is preferred
