Job Summary

Reading Hospital, named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals, has an excellent opportunity for a full time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine / Pediatric Hospitalist to join our Family Medicine Residency Program. We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatric physicians. 

 

Candidates can expect to work a 7 on 7 off schedule. The schedule allows for a balance between personal and professional life. Call requirements are reasonable and ensure good work-life balance.

 

The shift census is 11-15 patients of all ages.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for the right physician to be part of a well-established Family Medicine residency program.  

 

Berks County offers excellent schools, affordable homes, and many recreation and social amenities. Our community is within driving distance of Philadelphia, PA, New York City, Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Completed an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency 
  • BC/BE in Family Medicine or both Internal Medicine & Pediatrics 
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
