The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Neonatology is a rapidly growing academically oriented division. We are currently seeking an assistant professor/associate professor level faculty position to staff our NICU Clinical Service Contract with the University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC). The successful candidate will have faculty appointments in the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Maryland School of Medicine at academic levels to be determined by experience. The University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center NICU has a Level III NICU, serving the children of Maryland and the mid-Atlantic region.

UM SJMC located in Towson, MD. is a 263-bed Catholic hospital with more than 700 physicians on the medical staff Numerous areas of specialization include cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, emergency care, obstetrics and gynecology, surgical services, diabetes, psychiatric services and wound healing.

Originally called St. Joseph German Hospital, it was founded in 1864 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. The organization moved to its current location in Towson, Maryland in 1965.
