The Pediatric Gastroenterology Section is a dynamic and collaborative team leading the region in preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric digestive and liver disorders. Our team includes 7 faculty Pediatric Gastroenterologists, 6 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Pediatric Psychologists, 1 Registered Dietitian, 1 Social Worker, 4 Pediatric GI Nurses, 4 Endo Nurses, and 1 Endo Tech. Specialized programs in IBD, Celiac disease, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis, along with a Functional GI clinic staffed by licensed Psychologists, highlight our expertise. We also run short gut and parental nutrition programs through multidisciplinary clinics and surgical teams. With locations in Winston-Salem, Clemmons, and Greensboro, North Carolina, and plans for expansion in Kernersville, NC, we are committed to comprehensive pediatric gastrointestinal care.

Brenner Children's Hospital is a 182-bed pediatric facility serving infants, children, and adolescents across North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and beyond. The hospital includes a 79-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a 16-bed Behavioral Health unit. As the region's pediatric referral center, Brenner Children's offers more than 30 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, a dedicated pediatric emergency department with a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services designed to meet the unique needs of children and their families.
