Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established inpatient practice at Marshfield Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate is one that is eager to participate in a multi-specialty group practice that provides patient-centered care rooted in evidence-based medicine.  You will be 1 of 4 Neonatologists covering weekday rounds and weeknight/weekend call. Average daily census of 15 patients, split between 2 Neonatologists for weekday rounds. Average call schedule is 1:4, with physicians taking home call. Transfers are accomplished using our in-house NICU transport team.  The NICU has been a participating member of the Vermont Oxford Network since its inception. Our Neonatologists cover 26 weeks of NICU service, including 13 weekends and 52 weeknight calls.

Marshfield Children's Hospital

Our 56-bed Children's Hospital is Central Wisconsin's only accredited pediatric hospital, and one of only four in Wisconsin. It is equipped with the latest technology, more than 40 pediatric specialties and board-certified pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and neonatologists. Certified child life specialists ensure children receive the emotional support they may need to cope with their treatment during their hospital stay.  The hospital has 24 bed level 3 NICU with 24/7 neonatology support and normal newborn nursery; 8 bed PICU with 24/7 pediatric intensivist support including sedation services; 26 bed pediatric acute beds including 8 bed Heme-Onc positive pressure rooms and 24/7 pediatric hospitalist support.  Marshfield Children’s is an ACS Verified Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Program and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG).

We have been providing pediatric care for more than 100 years. Our 56-bed pediatrics unit is designed with our patients in mind. Our thoughtfully designed themed patient rooms bring our Wisconsin community to life while providing a healing atmosphere for your child. Dedicated cancer care and treatments
We offer the region's only pediatric oncology inpatient unit. Marshfield Children's pediatric cancer specialists treat childhood cancers and blood disorders. Our expertise includes rare childhood tumors, histiocytosis, bone/brain tumors and clotting conditions.
