Come join us in Waupaca in this HIGH PRIORITY role. We are in need of a Family Medicine physician with OB and an interest in C-section call. This role is essential to the community. Open to H1b visas!

Full Time 1.0 FTE – 32 patient contact hours (4 days per week) or 36 patient contact hours (4 ½ days per week)

Full scope with OB with C-Section (required) – rounding in hospital and vet home
Med/OB Call:
1:10 Weeks – Monday-Thursday 7a-5p Hospitalist/Call, Friday 7a-7p Hospitalist/Call
1:10 Weekends
About once every two weeks on call 5p—7a

 

C-Section Call:

Typically, a week at a time. Every 4th week but approximately every 4th night- as there is flexibility with scheduling among C-section providers
Works collaboratively with APCs in the clinic, hospital, and vet home
Clinic support staff include MA and RN. Hospital support staff include CNAs, RN, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, and Care Management
Team includes 12 physicians and 12 APCs.

 

Income Details: 

This is an employed position with a flexible two-year salary guarantee based on a four or four and a half day work week.
Third year of practice, the physician will move to an production compensation plan. Physician may choose to end the guarantee period early.
Signing Bonus: Generous sign-on bonus offered! 
Vacation: Time Off 35 days, including vacation, CME, and holidays

This role is in a 25-bed, Critical Access Hospital serving Waupaca and surrounding communities.

24-Hour Emergency Care - Board Certified Emergency Medicine Staff available 24/7, with close connections to ThedaStar in the event of a transfer to a higher level care facility is necessary. 
Family Birth Care with rooms designed to provide comfort to all family members. 
Swing Bed Program available to meet the needs of patients who no longer require inpatient care, but are not ready to go home. 
Rehabilitation Services, which provides a full range of services to treat mind, body, and spirit, offering an integrated approach to health and wellness
