Pediatric Pulmonologist Needed for Thriving Southeast Metro!

Huntsville Hospital Health System is looking to establish a new pediatric pulmonology program in our growing community to include an outpatient practice with consultative inpatient services.    The employed position offers a competitive compensation package with base salary plus productivity and quality incentives. The pediatric pulmonology program will be full-scope with PFT and spirometry testing available on-site as well as operating room space for bronchoscopy procedures at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. The physician practice will be a part of the Huntsville Hospital Lung Center. The Lung Center is a well-established integrated practice with 13 physicians, 8 advanced practice practitioners, and multiple locations providing more than 28,000 clinic visits per year.

Huntsville Hospital Health System is one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the nation with over 2500 beds serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee and includes both the Hospital for Women & Children and the Heart Center.

Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children is a stand-alone facility dedicated to caring for women, infants, children, and adolescents. The hospital offers the region's most comprehensive and experienced maternal and child health programs, averaging over 4,500 births a year and 16,000 admissions annually. Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children is the only one of its kind in the region with a Level III NICU, a 15 Bed PICU, a  pediatric surgery program, a 16-bed Pediatric ER and a 36-bed Pediatric Inpatient facility with pediatric hospitalists. It is home to 1 of 8 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital affiliate clinics for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. There are also teaching opportunities with UAB MS3/MS4 and Family Medicine residents on campus.
