Family Medicine Faculty Physician

The University of Minnesota/CentraCare St. Cloud Family Medicine Residency program has an open position that can be uniquely tailored to the right candidate who is enthusiastic about preparing our next generation of physicians for rural practice. Available Options for Teaching Position:

1. Core Faculty (0.7 to 1 FTE)
• Precepting Residents: Engage in teaching and guiding residents both in the clinic and hospital (40% of time).
• Clinical Practice: Provide clinical care in our residency clinic (40% of time).
• Administrative & Curriculum Development: Dedicated time to program administration and curriculum development (20% of time).
2. Inpatient Core Faculty (0.5 to 1 FTE)
• Precepting Residents: Serve as a hospitalist, precepting residents in the hospital (80% of time).
• Administrative & Curriculum Development: Allocate time for program administration and curriculum development (20% of time).
3. Precepting Residents (Part-Time)
• Precepting Residents: Engage in teaching and guiding residents both in the clinic and hospital.
• Flexible Clinical Practice: Maintain your own clinical practice elsewhere or join CentraCare clinics.
• Additional Opportunities: May include inpatient and/or maternity call.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay (first year) begins at $285,500 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience 
• Salary range: $285,500-$301,307 per year 
• Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
