We have an opportunity for a fellowship trained physician to join our nationally recognized multiple 3 3-star STS award winning care team at St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) in Tacoma, WA. We perform over 500 open heart cases a year, including a large volume of mitral valve surgeries. This position will also support a very  active cardiac interventional program that includes TEE dependent electrophysiology procedures, structural heart (TAVR/WATCHMAN/Mitra-clip), and other cath lab procedures.

Requirements:

• BC/BE Anesthesiology (American Board of Anesthesiology)
• Fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology and diplomat status in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (testamur status considered for recent fellowship graduates)
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
