Job Description

Position Overview

LVHN is home to one of the nation’s busiest bariatric surgery centers, performing more than 800 surgeries per year across our network. Our bariatric surgery team is the largest in the region and has performed more than 5,000 total surgeries in the past 15 years.  We are accredited as a Level 1 facility by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons. We are also first in the region to offer less-invasive LAP-BAND surgery, in addition to laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery.

Qualifications

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, as well as Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine
  • A current PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
  • 2 years experience practicing Obesity Medicine preferred
