Psychiatrist III Opportunity @ Richmond State Supported Living Center

The Physician III at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC) provides advanced medical care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, overseeing integrated medical services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and treating individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs
  • Developing health care plans with measurable goals and interventions
  • Advocating for individuals' medical needs and collaborating with healthcare providers
  • Monitoring trends, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulations

Essential Job Functions:

  • Delivering high-quality medical services in alignment with best practices
  • Overseeing long-term health status and chronic care
  • Providing acute care, participating in planning conferences, and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Collaborating with the medical team to improve services and compliance

Requirements include a medical doctor degree, experience in clinical leadership, and relevant certifications.
