Qualifications:

Proficiency in pacemaker implantation with at least a 200 case log.

Proficiency in managing patients with Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED), including performing, supervising, and troubleshooting pacemaker, defibrillator, cardiac resynchronization device, and implanted loop recorder checks, including management of remote device data.
Strong skills in echo reading and interpretation.
Ability to read and interpret ambulatory cardiac monitors.

 This is a per diem position, offering at most a 1-2 days a month of on demand work. Shifts will be scheduled based on demand, primarily to cover vacations for the local implanter. Cases are not guaranteed during scheduled shifts. If no implants occur during scheduled shifts, non invasive work in device clinic management, echo and monitor reading will be offered.

A busy community hospital cardiology practice with 10 cardiologists, 3 APPs, 30 staff, based on the grounds of a 200-bed hospital without a cathlab on site is seeking an experienced cardiologist for outpatient and inpatient daytime work. Duties will include cardiology clinic focused on new consults, post hospitalization heart failure visits, some urgent cardiology visits, and some follow ups of patients from panels of clinic MDs. Inpatient service will be required without overnight pager call. MD will round on the new and existing patients in the hospital and signout the list to the on call group MD as end of day to again take over the next morning. Other duties include echo reading, supervision of stress echo, interpretation of monitors and ECGs, supervision of exercise treadmill testing.
