Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, are seeking physicians to join the Section of Community Pediatrics for a faculty appointment (tenure or non-tenure track) to join a growing section.

The Section of Community Pediatrics is part of the largest pediatric academic practice in Arkansas, providing skilled, compassionate care to patients with common pediatric problems and complex chronic conditions. Our section’s motto is “Caring for Kids Where They Are!”  Our clinical practice is at the ACH Southwest Little Rock clinic, Chicot Elementary School, and Stephens Elementary School, bringing care close to home for thousands of children in Little Rock. The Southwest Little Rock Clinic greatly expands access to primary care for thousands of children who live nearby, many of them from Spanish-speaking families. Our clinics are an integral component of the statewide network of care Arkansas Children's is creating to serve the 710,000 children in the state. The clinic features 15 exam rooms, an X-ray suite, Laboratory, and spirometry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent degree and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Arkansas.
