Rhode Island Hospital, an affiliated teaching partner of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the Lifespan Physician Group, has an opening for a board certified or eligible gynecologist with experience or fellowship training in MIGS. This position does not require any obstetric work and is well-supported with specialty care. You will join a "turnkey" practice replacing a busy, retiring MIGS surgeon.

About the job:

  • Join a collegial group of 11 Ob/Gyns, 3 Ambulatory gynecologists, 2 MIGS Surgeons, 2 Gyn Oncologists, Vaginal Surgeon and an experienced team of Nurse Practitioners and RNs
  • A supportive leadership and administrative team including a dedicated MA, surgical coordinator and onsite behavioral health support
  • Immediate access to OR time one or two days per week
  • Option to work a 4 or 5-day work week
  • Use of a DaVinci robot if desired
  • Treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian pathology, and infertility.
  • Comprehensive surgical experience, including complex laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and advanced hysteroscopy
  • Option to teach fellows, residents and medical students with a Brown academic appointment
  • Call is 1:5 (day)

About you:

  • Completed a US-based Gyn residency
  • Board certified or eligible in Gyn
  • Experience with or fellowship training in MIGS.
  • Must have or be eligible for a ABOG practice designation in MIGS
