Position Highlights:

• Join our Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing exceptional care to over 1000 patients annually at Hartford Hospital.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within our specialized Stroke and Neuro-Critical Care units.
• Benefit from round-the-clock coverage by our dedicated endovascular and neurosurgery teams.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship programs for neurology residents, vascular neurology fellows, and neuro interventional radiology fellows.
• Access cutting-edge treatment options, including IV Tenecteplase and Endovascular therapy.
• Participate in telemedicine/tele-stroke services and contribute to our established outpatient Neurovascular clinic.
• Secure academic appointments with the prestigious University of Connecticut Medical School.
• Play an integral role in ongoing research initiatives and potentially serve as a site Principal Investigator.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology with specialized fellowship training in Vascular Neurology.
• Demonstrated commitment or desire to working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, serving a diverse patient population.
• Passion for education and mentorship, fostering the growth of trainees from varied backgrounds.
• Strong interest in research with a desire to actively participate in academic endeavors.
