Job Description

The Providence Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board-certified Thoracic Surgical Oncologist to join its growing team of cancer specialists in Portland Oregon. Ideal candidates will have fellowship training or a strong background and interest in the care of patients with malignant disease, as well as experience in minimally invasive and/or robotic surgery. Demonstration of scholarly attributes in research and clinical trials is preferred. This position benefits from a built-in referral base from an extensive network of primary care clinics within Oregon and Southwest Washington and affiliation with the Earle A.   • Full-time, 1.0 FTE with protected administrative time
  • Opportunity for faculty appointment at the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute
  • Board-eligible/board-certified as Thoracic Surgical Oncologist
  • Robotic training and/or experience is desired
  • Demonstrated scholarly interests in research and clinical trials preferred
