ECU FM/IM Geriatric Physician

ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician to join their established primary care team. Additional Certificate of Added Qualification CAQ in Geriatrics is required.

The Geriatrics Division is housed within the Department of Family Medicine, which is one of 11 clinical departments at East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine. The mission of the Geriatrics Division is to care for our older population and prepare all levels of learners for the challenges of caring for older patients. The Geriatrics Division employs 4 physicians, 2 APP’s, and 1 Fellow who provide direct patient care in the Monk Geriatric Center and one continuing care retirement community. The Division is committed to medical student, resident, and fellow education equipping learners with the unique patient care skills that are required for a career in caring for older patients.

The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University

The Brody School of Medicine has trained physicians for more than 50 years as the only allopathic medical school in North Carolina’s Atlantic Coastal Plain. The school’s mission is to increase the supply of primary care physicians to meet the state’s medical needs, especially in the east.
