Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice Physicians

Posterity Group, LLC is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physicians for the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (FVAMC), North Carolina.

Work Schedule:

The usual workday will be from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PDT) on weekdays. The physician will do an outpatient clinic during the weekdays per regular clinic schedules, usually from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PDT) daily.

Compensations:

  • $240,220 - $297,014 annually (respectively) 
  • 3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 11 paid Federal holidays per year
  • $1,500 CME annually
  • $4.21/hr. Health & Welfare (H & W). Benefit contributes toward health insurance or 401K if needed. Cash in lieu of.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Interview and examine patients, review past medical history, and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make a diagnosis for primary care services. Family Medicine Physicians make diagnoses after evaluating the information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate.
  • Provide primary care services supporting a continuum of care from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, to appropriate referral and follow-up. Be responsible for caring for patients with simple to moderately complex conditions that can be appropriately managed in a primary care outpatient environment.
  • Provide healthcare services for the entire period of performance at the FVAMC on an as-needed basis.
  • The physician shall schedule and perform procedures as appropriate.
  • Counsel and educate Veteran-patients, families, and FVAMC medical staff about general healthcare topics and concerns.
  • Contract Family Practice Physicians shall prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide care.

Qualifications:

  • Physicians shall be duly licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia (D.C.), and residency training in the specialty of Family Practice Medicine they are providing.
  • Must have graduated from an approved school and completed Residency or Fellowship acceptable to the Surgeon General and credentialed by the appropriate civilian American Medical Association specialty association.
  • Must have current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Must have current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • National Practitioner Identifier (NPI)
