While on service, responsibilities include delivering pediatric in-hospital surgical services and conducting consultations in a clinic located on the University Medical Center campus. Teaching surgical residents and medical students is also a key aspect of the position. Required qualifications include an MD degree and board certification or eligibility in pediatric surgery.
