The system medical chief is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and best practices. The chief will assure an excellent clinical work product, maintaining high patient and staff satisfaction, and foster excellence in research and education.

• Monitors the training and development of Service Line Programs and physicians
• Evaluates work performance and is responsible for monitoring and reporting quantitative and qualitative results and outcomes
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Liaison with other service lines and programs to ensure the organization's objectives are met system-wide
