Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is seeking an ABTS BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon.  The ideal candidate will have broad training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive surgical techniques. ECMO experience is desirable. New grads will be considered.

Compensation Range: $548,742 - $581,021 / Year

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
  • Must have or be eligible for California State medical licensure
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health California hospitals
  • A passion for providing excellent clinical care in a collaborative team-based setting
  • Willing to abide by and promote the values of CommonSpirit Health

The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
