Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) in New Jersey is currently looking for a highly motivated clinical psychiatrist to join our team as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health for the outpatient program.
Our Behavioral Health outpatient team consists of a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, LSWs and LCSWs. Case managers as well as registered nurses support the team. The Bordentown, NJ location provides Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments on site. CHMG currently offers outpatient Behavioral Health services at our Bordentown, NJ and Newtown, PA locations.
The Psychiatrist/Outpatient Behavioral Health Medical Director is a full-time role that is responsible for providing coordinated psychiatric services and includes evaluation, diagnosis, medication assessments and adjustments, patient education, and treatment planning. There is also outpatient call responsibility. The Medical Director is medically responsible for the delivery of health care for the outpatient Behavioral Health department, including direct oversight of the medication management providers. He/she will have direct reporting responsibilities to the Director of the Department of Psychiatry and the Divisional Associate Chief Medical Officer. They also will work closely with the Capital Health Leadership team to reach department and organizational goals.
An active NJ state medical license, DEA and CDS are required to be secured by the date of employment. CHMG does require providers to hold dual licensing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Future employees must present proof of application submission for their PA state license by the date of their employment. Once the PA license is secured, the physician will submit for their PA DEA. Board Certification required or board eligible in adult psychiatry.
