ECAA-Anesthesia Specialists, General Anesthesiologist at Charlotte Surgery Center Wendover Campus

East Carolina Anesthesia Associates (ECAA) is seeking an employed general physician to join our collaborative team in the beautiful city of Charlotte, NC. Strong regional skills are required. Cases are performed at three surgery centers, Charlotte Surgery Center Wendover Campus, and Charlotte Surgery Center Museum Campus, and The Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery. Our success in these facilities has been built with an exceptional team of both physicians and anesthetists working collaboratively in a trusting environment with patients. Physicians manage 3-4 CRNAs each day.

The Wendover Campus facility offers strictly orthopedic cases including total joints. The Museum Campus provides a full spectrum of surgical specialties including: Eyes, ENT, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, GYN, Urology, Pediatric orthopedics, orthopedic foot and ankle, hands, and podiatry. The Carolina Center for Specialty surgery performs a variety of surgeries for specialty procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to perform a wide variety of cases for patients ages 6 months - 95 years of age. Assignments shared equally amongst all physicians.

NO WEEKENDS, NO CALL, NO HOLIDAYS!
This is a salaried full time position with paid holidays and is great opportunity to work just over half the year. Compensation is >$320,000 with eligibility for significant annual bonus.

Physicians alternate between the three facilities on week long (5 day work week) assignments. They also alternate the early and late shifts. One physician takes late shifts Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the other takes Tuesday and Thursday.
Most cases enter the operating room at 0645 or later, but some start at 0630.
The latest cases are expected to start by 1700 and finish no later than 1900.
Start date flexibility from May-July 2024.
