Piedmont Geriatric Hospital is seeking a clinician to provide psychiatric evaluation and onsite coverage for geriatric (65+) public sector patient population. This position will work primary hours of 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or obtain one prior to the start of employment
• Medical degree and completion of an ACGME-approved residency training in Psychiatry prior to the start of employment.
• Current DEA controlled Substance registration/licensed or obtain one prior to the start of employment.

We are operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and have been awarded the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.
