Your Role

• Provide compassionate primary and secondary-level psychiatric care

• Conduct evaluations, follow-up care, and psychiatric consultations

• Perform brief monthly assessments for interdisciplinary team reviews

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the well-being of older adults

What You Bring

• Strong foundation in general psychiatry

• Interest or experience in geriatric mental health

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Unrestricted Virginia medical license

• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency

• Current DEA registration

We are operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and have been awarded the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. We are located within a reasonable distance to shopping and entertainment in the metro Richmond area, the Town of Farmville, and the City of Lynchburg.
