  • 62 private NICU rooms each with a couch so parents can stay
  • Multi-disciplinary team approach

Responsibilities:

  • 24 weeks of service per year
  • Rotate between 4 different teams
  • Only 6-8 weeks coverage per year on the high acuity team
  • Home call - 42 nights/ year
  • Attending coverage in the Newborn Intensive Care unit
  • Working with our excellent Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in a follow-up clinic for high-risk patients that are discharged from the NICU to provide continuity of care
  • Participation in outreach opportunities with Capital Region Medical Center in various locations throughout Missouri.
