Burlington Internal Medicine Team & Practice Highlights

• Active teaching environment with rotating PA students and medical students
• Established outpatient Internal Medicine practice in Burlington
• Team-based culture with 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
• Call: 1:15, office call only
• After?hours answering service fields first
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Typical patient volume: 18–24 patients per day
• Abridge AI Scribe support
• Dedicated 1:1 MD:MA or nurse staffing model
• Active teaching environment with rotating PA students and medical students

Compensation & Benefits

Kernodle Clinic offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity. Duke contributes 9% of base salary to the selected retirement plan, with excellent benefits, relocation support, and college tuition assistance for dependent children.
