PRACTICE SETTINGS
You would spend roughly 50% of your time as a member of our hospitalist team at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland. As a member of the hospitalist team, you’d be responsible for admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge. The other half of your time would be spent serving as an attending physician across several of our skilled nursing facility clients in Southern Maryland, where you would perform exams and develop treatment plans, adhere to Adfinitas and facility’s policies and procedures, facilitate patient’s transition within and between healthcare settings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
