Breast Surgeon - AdventHealth East Orlando

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic, board-certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Surgery to join our growing team and expand access to comprehensive breast care in East Orlando. This is an employed opportunity within a highly collaborative, physician-led organization.

We are seeking a surgeon who is excited about the opportunity to help launch and shape a growing breast surgery program serving a rapidly expanding community.

Ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery (required)
• Board Certification in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
• Prior breast surgery experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Desire to thrive in a collaborative, collegial, and high-volume practice
• Experience preferred but not required

Advanced Program & Infrastructure Highlights:

• Advanced Surgical Technology: Four robotic platforms, including three da Vinci Xi systems and one da Vinci 5 (DV5)
• Expanding Surgical Infrastructure: Seven inpatient ORs (including two newly added in 2026) plus two ORs in the HOPD Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Integrated Breast & Reconstruction Support: Dedicated collaboration with Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
• Dedicated Oncology Navigation Support: Cancer Nurse Navigator supporting patients across their entire cancer journey
• Strong Imaging Network: Multiple access points including Waterford Lakes, Lake Nona, and East Orlando Imaging (MOB)
• Established Referral Network: Strong pipeline from AdventHealth primary care providers and community partners
