We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist to providing comprehensive patient-centered care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic cardiovascular disease to adult patients primarily in the outpatient setting. This position requires strong diagnostic, assessment and treatment skills as well as the ability to build relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional cardiovascular care to adult patients.
  • Diagnose, assess, and treat acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
  • Build trusting relationships with patients from varied experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Medical degree (MD, DO) from an accredited institution required.
  • Successful completion of a residency program in Cardiology required.
  • Successful completion of a fellowship program preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License.
  • Federal DEA Certification.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology (Board Certification required within two years of hire).
  • Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications required.
  • PALS Certification required if treating pediatric patients.
