Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to become the Facility Medical Director at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL. This Program is experiencing exciting growth and offers an outstanding culture. The expanded staffing model and newly added OB nighthawk APPs support work/life balance for our Physicians.The Facility Medical Director will work collaboratively with the Operations team, Hospital Administration and APP leadership to carry out the Group’s mission of maintaining a mutually respectful work environment, leading by example and a sharing a genuine love of providing excellent patient care.
Ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication, relationship building, and be able to represent the Anesthesia department as a true partner within the organization. Responsibilities include assuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes, employee satisfaction and retention as well as monitoring efficiencies and quality metrics. Previous leadership experience required.
Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Staffing model of 8 Anesthesiologists and 26 AAs covering 12 Sites of service. Medical Direction of CAAs.
- Diverse mix of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, Endo, GYN, Vascular, OB, and EP, Spine, etc. No Trauma. No Cardiac.
- Average work week is 40-50 hours plus in-house overnight call 1:8, 3p - 7a. Post call day off.
- Dedicated CAA stays In-house and covers OB, Monday- Sunday, 8p-8a. 3 person team on a 3 week rotation
