Internal Medicine Faculty Physician | Teach, Mentor, Lead

As our Graduate Medical Education program continues to grow, we are seeking a passionate Internal Medicine Faculty physician to join our team and help shape the next generation of physicians.

This is an opportunity to combine clinical practice with teaching in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

 

Position Highlights

Balanced Clinical Model with Inpatient Rounding

  • Two weeks in the outpatient setting, precepting residents and caring for private patients
  • One week dedicated to inpatient rounding alongside residents and hospitalists
  • One week off every four weeks, supporting a sustainable and balanced schedule

 

Outpatient Practice

  • Precept residents within a 36-resident Internal Medicine residency program
  • Maintain a private patient panel while guiding residents through their clinical development
  • No clinic responsibilities on Thursdays—protected time for morning administrative work and afternoon didactics

 

Inpatient Rounding

  • Collaborate closely with residents and hospitalists during your inpatient week
  • Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and hands-on teaching in a team-based environment

 

GME & Educational Responsibilities

  • Participate in didactic sessions to support a strong and engaging learning environment
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering the professional growth of resident physicians
  • Contribute to meaningful care and education that improves outcomes for underserved populations
