Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA), a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), specializes in facilitating the review of medical claims to determine the appropriateness of treatments, known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.

Additional Information:

• Covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional malpractice insurance is not applicable for review work).
• Work from anywhere within the United States (patient records cannot leave the U.S. due to HIPAA regulations).
• Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Anesthesia and with Pain Management Fellowship.
• Strong computer navigation skills.
• Must have some daytime availability.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license in Minnesota.   
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (we are unable to sponsor a visa).
