Position Title: Full-time Inpatient General Psychiatrist

Location: Ocala, FL
Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents, adults and senior adult patients struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Our programs boast a committed and expert multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Hospital Employed Inpatient General Psychiatrist
• Schedule / Hours: On-site Monday-Friday schedule
• Call: one night a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding
• Patient Volume: Will vary, ages 12 and older, caseload numbers vary
• Location: Ocala, FL
• Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older
• Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary with Productivity Bonus potential or 1099 options
• Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, paid time off, CME package for W2
• Relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonuses are available for W2

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in General Psychiatry, BC preferred
• Active or eligible FL license
• Active DEA
• Comfortable treating ages 12 and older
