The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Moses Cone Hospital, a university-affiliated, community teaching program sponsored by Cone Health, is seeking academic General Internists to join our faculty in full-time or part-time (0.5 FTE) roles.
This opportunity is ideal for clinician-educators passionate about teaching residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a well-established Internal Medicine residency program. Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine with teaching experience.

Full-time or 0.5 FTE faculty appointment
Teaching in inpatient and outpatient settings
12 weeks/year attending on inpatient resident service
Continuity clinic 0.5 day/week + outpatient resident precepting
20% protected time for education and faculty development
Shared call model: phone-only evenings, evenly split weekends/holidays
Focus on clinical reasoning, evidence-based medicine, and informatics
Strong emphasis on physician wellness and resiliency
