Position Summary
Greenwich Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospitalist specializing in Internal Medicine to join our dynamic inpatient team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Hospitalist will provide comprehensive care to medicine inpatients assigned to the Hospitalist Service. This role emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency, and a patient-centered approach. The Hospitalist will also contribute to education, quality improvement, and operational excellence within the hospital.

Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
• Deliver high-quality inpatient care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Education
• Identify and address educational needs of patients, families, and team members.
• Provide teaching to nurses, PAs/NPs, medical students, and residents.

Quality Improvement & Customer Satisfaction
• Participate in initiatives to enhance care quality and patient satisfaction.

Patient Safety
• Practice evidence-based medicine with a focus on minimizing risk and enhancing safety.

Operations
• Adhere to all Yale New Haven Health / Greenwich Hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications
• M.D. / D.O. degree
• Full residency training
• Board Eligibility / Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Must have attending medical staff privileges at respective YNHHS entity Licensure
• Connecticut medical license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification

Work Schedule: Day
Scheduled Hours: 68 hours every other week (7 on / 7 off schedule)
