North Oaks Health in Hammond, LA has an immediate need for a GME Medical Director (Family Medicine). 

The Program Director leads and administers the Family Medicine Residency, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements and delivering a high-quality educational experience.  The Program Director recruits and mentors faculty, oversees curriculum, supports resident development, and aligns program goals with institutional and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee program leadership, accreditation, and operations
• Recruit and evaluate faculty; foster professional growth
• Guide residents through curriculum, milestones and scholarly activity
• Maintain compliance with ACGME standards, including duty hours and evaluations
• Promote resident wellness, scholarly output, and community engagement

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with ABMS/AOA board certification in Family Medicine
• Eligible/licensed in Louisiana
• >3 years documented faculty/administrative experience in an ACGME Family Medicine program
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching expertise

Preferred:

• Prior Program Director / Assistant Program Director experience, professional organization leadership, QI/population health experience
