The world class cardiothoracic surgery program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a General Thoracic Surgeon to join our established and highly respected practice. This position will be based primarily out of our west side regional hospital locations with a “home base” at MetroHealth Hospital and an affiliation to the Cleveland Clinic main campus.
Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, chest wall, pleural space, and mediastinum. The practice offers a full spectrum of endoscopic procedures of the lungs and esophagus, as well as dilation and stenting procedures. Minimally invasive surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology.
Requirements: Board Certified / Board Eligible American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain an Ohio medical license. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience can be obtained with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
