RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, in partnership with Rutgers Health, is seeking talented Pediatric Surgeons to join our team across New Jersey. Our rapidly expanding pediatric surgery team includes 7 pediatric surgeons working within the largest provider of pediatric healthcare in New Jersey. With four acute care children’s hospitals, a level II trauma program, and the renowned Children’s Specialized Hospital for pediatric rehabilitation, we draw complex cases from a wide-reaching patient base. As the system delivering over 25,000 babies annually, more than any other health system in the state, we offer a high volume of pediatric surgical cases. Our pediatric surgeons are among the most experienced in New Jersey. Each year, we perform thousands of pediatric surgical procedures, including lifesaving emergency surgeries and routine procedures on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
RWJBarnabas Health’s pediatric program is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in surgical care, including pediatric urology and orthopedic care. The program is entering a new phase of growth, providing exceptional opportunities for academic leadership, teaching, and research through our collaboration with Rutgers Health. RWJBarnabas Health has achieved the first-ever Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Pediatric and Adolescent Robotic Surgery in the US. This designation recognizes our commitment to a high standard of delivery of quality patient care and safety, and means that we meet nationally and internationally recognized standards.
As the largest integrated health care delivery system in New Jersey, RWJBarnabas Health offers competitive compensation and a robust benefits package including health, life, disability, and malpractice insurance, 401(k) plans, plus Honors Policy PTO.
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $400,000 to $700,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
