Reasons to live in the Salt Lake area:
- Park City, Snowbird, and Alta are 30–45 minutes away!
- Salt Lake is happening nowadays; it’s a young, growing metropolitan area. It has great restaurants and shopping, it’s a great place to raise a family, there are world-class ski resorts close by, and outdoor recreation (hiking and camping) is fantastic. There’s a lot more as well.
- This is a great group, with great surgeons. The medical director for Urgent Specialty Associates single-handedly does more spine exposures than the University of Utah and Intermountain Healthcare combined (but you don’t need to aspire to that)!
- Phenomenal mentorship for young surgeons
