Academic Pediatric Anesthesiology

Position Highlights

  • Outstanding academic position with a nationally ranked children's hospital!
  • 255-bed hospital, level 1 trauma, level IV NICU
  • Partnership with University of Tennessee
  • Flexible schedule. Can travel in from another location
  • PAN will do neuro, spine, ENT, dental, surgery, GI, ortho
  • 18-day or night shifts per month. Days are 10-hour shifts. Nights are 14-hour shifts.
  • Can do 24-hour shifts
  • Great support, culture, and collegial environment
  • Working with outstanding pediatric specialists 
  • Epic EMR
  • PAN can block shifts together
  • PAN can work mostly days or mostly nights

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary of $580k
  • Signing bonus of $60k
  • Make between $50k - $150k in extra pay for nights or additional shifts
  • 24 days PTO, 12 sick days, 5 CME, federal holidays
  • Malpractice and comprehensive health plans
  • Retirement plan contributes 9%
