Job Summary:
Mission Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our engaged and passionate group of providers.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified / board eligible in pediatrics
- Please note this position does not offer visa support
- This is primarily a Pediatric Hospitalist role with potential coverage with the Newborn Hospitalist service line as needed

Mission Children’s is the region’s only children’s hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines:
- 51-bed, Level-III NICU and delivery room resuscitation staffed by our Neonatology team
- 34 bed Mother Baby Unit
- 19 bed Pediatric Unit
- 9 Bed PICU staffed by our Pediatric Intensivist team
- An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units
- Approximately 4,000 deliveries per year
- Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
- Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area
