Gallatin, Tennessee

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is one of the most experienced cardiac programs in the nation. Our program includes more than 70 cardiac specialists serving a large regional network of 59 plus practice locations. Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking a talented and ambitious interventional cardiologist to work alongside a long standing interventional cardiologist as well as an invasive non- interventional cardiologist and two electrophysiologists to expand our practice in Gallatin, Tennessee. The candidate will be fellowship trained in interventional cardiology, possess a strong work ethic, be a team player, and serve as an ambassador for Ascension Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line.

Gallatin, Tennessee, just 30 minutes from Nashville, is packed with things to do for its 46,000 residents.  Camping, boating, swimming, hiking and fishing at Old Hickory Lake and living historical sites like the downtown Palace Theater for movies and concerts are all available. An outstanding parks system, a growing greenway and access to mountain bike trails, a skate park and more makes Gallatin attractive to those who love the outdoors. It is a city filled with young professionals and big-name businesses such as Amazon, AllianceBernstein, Ernst & Young, Lyft and Warby Parker.  Facebook has recently announced plans to build a $800 million data center there.

Join an established interventional cardiology group as the service line expands

Internal multi-specialty referral network 

Join a team of General and  Interventional Cardiologist to work in the clinic, make rounds in the hospitals, and be part of the call rotation

Collaboration with a very large CV Service Line both in-person and virtually

Requirements

BC/BE in Cardiology

Strong work ethic and team player

Serve as an ambassador for Ascension Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line

Experience strongly preferred

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
