Position: Perm Gynecology-Oncology Physician
Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, 1400 East Boulder Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909

UCHealth Medical Group in Colorado Springs is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecology-Oncology Physician for a full-time, permanent role. We invite talented physicians committed to excellence and patient-centered care to join our distinguished team.

Position Overview:
This opportunity involves providing comprehensive gynecologic oncology care at Memorial Hospital Central, a Level I trauma center. The practice serves a diverse adult patient population with an outpatient focus, seeing approximately 15-22 patients daily, including new consultations and follow-ups, with flexibility in scheduling. The physician will work within a collaborative, physician-led medical group comprising over 650 physicians and 500 advanced practice providers (APPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert gynecologic oncology services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with specialized team members, including dedicated GynOnc nurses, radiation oncologists, and pathologists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, clinical trials, and research initiatives.
  • Use advanced surgical technologies, including da Vinci Xi robotic system, at our Level I trauma center.
  • Contribute to medical education by mentoring medical students (optional).
  • Manage call schedule shared at a 1:2 ratio, primarily on weekends, with hospitalist support for inpatient admissions and consults.
  • Engage in outpatient care, with optional involvement in teaching and research activities.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Graduating fellows in Gynecologic Oncology scheduled to complete training in 2024 are encouraged to apply.
  • Commitment to permanent placement; this is not a locum position.
  • Must have valid U.S. medical licensure and eligibility to work in Colorado.
  • Thirteen candidates are not eligible if on visas.
  • Credentialing expected within approximately 90 days.
